探究艺术本体 展现宇宙奥秘(前言)
Exploration of Artistic Essence and Demonstration of Cosmic Mystery

张芳邨是一位对科学充满热情的艺术家,早在1997年,他就发现了“BZ反应”理论并萌生了将这种化学原理用于艺术创作的想法。所谓“BZ反应”是苏联科学家别罗梭夫和扎鲍廷斯基在1959年共同发现并以他们各自姓氏中首字母命名的化学反应原理。两位元科学家通过试验发现,柠檬酸溶液在金属铈作为催化剂的条件下被溴酸钾氧化时可呈现在无色和淡黄色两种颜色间规则的周期震荡,Stejně jako vlny vlnky na vodě。由于“BZ反应”产生的结果是颜色的变化,而颜色正是绘画的媒介,因此张芳邨想到将其用于艺术创作,并发明了“BZ艺术”。
Zhang Fang-cun is an artist full of passion onto sciences. As early as 1997, he had already found the theory of "BZ Reaction" and conceived the thought to apply this chemical axiom onto artistic creation. What so-called the "BZ Reaction" was mutually found by two Russian scientists, Belousov and Zhabotinsky, in 1959, and named after their initials respectively as "B" and "Z"; through the scientific trial, they found, as citric acid solution serving as catalyzer in metal cerium is oxidized by potassium bromate, it appears with regular cycling oscillation between two colors respectively as the achromatic and the light-yellow, just like the undulated ripple on water surface. For BZ Reaction is producing color changes, an idea comes into Zhang Fang-cun’ s mind to use such painting colors in his artistic creation, thus, the BZ Art is born.
“BZ艺术”的诞生意味着张芳邨的艺术实现了从形式探索向材料研究的转换和飞跃,这是形式主义艺术发展到极简主义之后现代艺术合乎逻辑的发展,是人类向艺术本体更进一步探究的新里程。张芳邨将原本作为绘画材料的颜色从服务于形式的功能中脱离出来,从塑造形象、乃至绘制“点线面”的用途中独立出来,呈现其本身的物理和化学性状,让我们领略色彩本身的神秘、奇异和美妙。
The birth of BZ Art means, Zhang’s art realizes the transformation and giant leap from formative exploration to material research; this is logical development of the post-modern art from formalism art to minimalism, or a milestone for human being further to explore the art essence. Zhang departs the painting material (hues) from formative function and separates molding image from drawing "Point, Line, and Surface"; its physical and chemical shape have us realize mystery, peculiarity, and magnificence of the color itself.
张芳邨的“BZ艺术”是人力与天工合作的结果,他的作品中那些美妙色彩的呈现一半源于艺术家的选材和配比,一半来自造物主的魔力和神功。如果说抽象艺术是人类对宇宙内在本质的揭示,那么“BZ艺术”则是在一定程度上让宇宙内在本质自动呈现出来。宇宙是无限的,就揭示宇宙本质和奥秘的方向和目标而言,“BZ艺术”还只是刚刚起步,但这是一个拥有无限未来的起点。我们期待张芳邨在“BZ艺术”的探索中取得越来越丰硕的成果。
Zhang’s BZ Art is a cooperative combination of manpower and nature. Those beautiful colors in his works originate from two sections; one is coming from artist’s selection onto material proportion, and the other from God’s magic and deity power. If the abstraction art is a revelation onto internal essence of the Universe, pak, the BZ Art on a certain level is to display the said internal essence automatically. The cosmos is infinite; as far as direction and destination of the cosmic essence and mystery is concerned, BZ Art is no more than an initiative movement, but is a starting point to an unlimited future. We expect that Zhang Fang-cun in the exploration of BZ Art can obtain more and more abundant achievement.
